After an XML training phase, NEOFI Solutions accompanied the Vedior France Group throughout the entire SEPA transfer integration process. With more than 2.5 billion transfers per year, in particular for its temporary staff, Vedior France wanted to prepare the group for the European SEPA format and to propose new, value-added services to its employees.
Randstad is a leader in the field of Human Resources and has a turnover of more than 8 billion Euros per year in 50 countries. The Group appoints more than 400,000 employees per year in France.
Today, more than 90% of payment operations are made by wire transfer from a shared service centre which includes cash management. It was therefore natural for the Vedior France Group to be interested in this new method of Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) Credit Transfer, as well as in the opportunities for dematerialization of pay sheets and an extended offer of services, notably the electronic safe, all of which support the Group's loyalty and quality of service strategy.
The SEPA Credit Transfer project consisted of putting into place a collaborative XML solution allowing all to adapt to the new format. It was necessary to adopt a simple, adaptable tool and a new reference framework with which the functional teams could train, in terms of a professional skill. It was important to link the users together, keeping a good traceability, for the format conversion as well as for the definition of new control function processes.
"We have kept NEOFI Solutions and its solution NEOFI Link", says Philippe Helaine, Financement and Cash Flow Director for the Vedior France Group, and member of the SEPA Commission at the heart of the AFTE (Association Française des Trésoriers d'Entreprise - French Association of Coporate Treasurers). "This tool treats the XML problem extremely simply, thus allowing users to free themselves from technical problems and to focus on the actual content of the transfer. Thanks to the user-friendliness of the tool, my team adapted to the SEPA Credit Transfer format in six half-days, transforming the AFB file to the XML 20022 format. The testing was carried out simply with our current banking partners, making corrections from December to last March, in order to conform to the standard and to optimize the file structure."
